STATION OF BEING

Location: Science park Umeå Sweden

Designed to make a tranquil waiting experience in sub freezing temperature and snow in the arctic region of Umeå Sweden, Station Of Being tells which bus is arriving through multiple distinctive choreographies of sound and light that reflect the destinations. Eight speakers manifest spatial compositions of sound and make a large timber roof in which they are placed resonate with warm acoustics.
